Dear Young Immunologists!

2006 was a special year for the European immunologists, because all the national congresses were organized together in Paris by the EFIS. It is, in the same time raises a question, whether all those interested in immunology and all those having new research results to be represented, had the possibility to be there. It is question, whether it was successful in making a tradition.

On the basis of these questions, the Hungarian Society of Immunology decided to organize every year a domestic forum for the members of the society, where, they could listen to the results of those young researchers who were not able to travel to Paris or they could present only a poster there.

So, this is to invite all, who are interested, to take part in the programme of the Youth Day of the Hungarian Society of Immunology to be organized in Pécs on 17th November, 2006 in the Headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Science. Researchers under 35 years are welcome to send an abstract of their lecture to be given.

This programme is connected with a scientific forum to be organized in the afternoon, on 16th of November, 2006. on the occasion of the 15 years Anniversary of the Pécs Institute of Immunology and Biotechnology, where, besides the colleagues of the institute, some foreign collaborating partners will also give lectures. Followed by this, on the 16th, at 7 p.m. Meeting of the Board of the Hungarian Society of Immunology will be held also at the Headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Science.
